Farside Tours is a private tour operator, adventure guide, and local liason to travelers who want to explore and experience the wilderness as it was meant to be explored...we call it "going backcountry" or "on the farside". Our mission is to show fellow explorers, travelers, and adventure seekers how amazing and sacred this high region of the Mojave Desert is such a magical place. Our top priority is to make sure you and your crew have an unforgettable, life-changing experience "on the farside" of your comfort zone.

We are based in Twentynine Palms, CA near the north entrance to Joshua Tree Nationa Park. Our guided hikes tend to follow the less traditional routes and are typically considered a freestyle way of exploring. We're all explorers and like discovering new places or hidden secrets, places rarely seen by others. We strive to make every backcountry hike, stargazing experience, or overnight camping expedition uniquely tailored to the size of the group (# of hikers), excitement level on a 1 to (Range Low-to-High), intentions, expectations, and and and each group we take out.  or memorable and also provide campers/visitors with a variety of concierge services including a private shuttle service, food & beverage deliveries, alternative glamping locations, guides to iconic art installations and photoshoot destinations outside the national park, restaurant recommendations & reservations, and  dedicated to making sure you and your crew have a hassle free trip, so you can maximize your time here and make lasting memories.
